Getting Started
Step 1: Start the Bot
1. Open Telegram and search for the CarFlipper bot
2. Click "Start" or send /start /start
3. The bot will welcome you and show the main menu
Step 2: First-Time Setup
- Option 1: Share your location automatically (recommended)
- Option 2: Type your city and state/province manually
Creating Car Alerts
Step 1: Start Alert Creation
From the main menu, tap "🔔 Create Alert". The bot will ask you to describe the car you're looking for.
Step 2: Describe Your Car
Tell the bot what you want in natural language. Examples:
- "I want a red Toyota Corolla 2018-2021 under $18,000 with low miles"
- "Looking for a Honda Civic 2019-2022, automatic, under $25,000"
- "Need a Ford F-150 2020-2023, any color, under $40,000"
- Make and model (Toyota, Honda, Ford, etc.)
- Year range (2018-2021, 2020+, etc.)
- Price range (under $20,000, $15,000-$25,000, etc.)
- Mileage preferences (low miles, under 50,000 km, etc.)
- Color preferences (red, blue, any color, etc.)
- Transmission type (automatic, manual)
- Location preference (if different from your default)
Step 3: Choose Search Frequency
- 🌅 Daily (once per day)
- 🕓 Every 3 days
- 🕗 Every week
- 🕐 Every hour
- 🕓 Every 6 hours
- 🕗 Every 12 hours
- Plus all Free options
- ⚡⚡ Every 2 minutes
- ⚡ Every 5 minutes
- ⚡ Every 10 minutes
- Plus all Pro and Free options
Managing Your Alerts
View All Alerts
From main menu, tap "📋 View Alerts" to see all your active alerts.
Pause/Resume Alerts
View alerts → Find alert → Tap "⏸️ Pause Alert" or "▶️ Resume Alert"
Delete an Alert
View alerts → Find alert → Tap "🛑 Delete Alert" → Confirm deletion

2. Tap "📍 Change Location"
3. Choose how to set location:
- Share Current Location: Tap location button (recommended)
- Type Manually: Enter city and state/province

Receiving Notifications
What You'll Receive
When the bot finds matching cars, you'll get:
- Car Photo: Main image of the vehicle
- Car Details: Year, make, model, condition
- Price Information: Current price and any price reductions
- Vehicle Specs: Mileage, color, transmission, fuel type
- Direct Link: One-click access to the full listing
Tips for Better Results
Writing Effective Descriptions
- Be Specific: Include make, model, and year range
- Set Realistic Prices: Use market-appropriate price ranges
- Include Important Features: Transmission, mileage limits
Best Practices
- Act Quickly: The best deals sell fast
- Check Regularly: Review your alerts periodically
- Be Patient: Good deals may take time to appear
Troubleshooting
No Results Found
Try broadening your search criteria or increasing your budget range.
Bot Not Responding
Check your internet connection and try sending the message again.
Too Many Notifications
Make your search criteria more specific to reduce the number of alerts.
Location Issues
Update your location settings if searches aren't finding local results.
